About this subject

  • On successful completion you will be able to:

    1. Recognise the range of heritage values considered important by Australians
    2. Demonstrate effective teamwork skills through clear communication, organisation of tasks and responsibilities
    3. Display knowledge of ethical issues and understanding of the application of statutory frameworks in the protection of archaeological sites
    4. Apply analytical research skills to the investigation of both heritage sites and relevant legislation.

Entry requirements


Prerequisites: Student must have completed 120 credits points.
Past La Trobe University students who have previously completed ARC4005 (Managing Cultural Heritage) are ineligible to enroll in this subject.
