  2. explain the principles of effective offender rehabilitation
  3. describe evidence-based interventions for youth and adult offenders
  4. identify the strengths and limitations of individual-level interventions with youth and adult offenders
  5. utilise electronic literature databases to locate research reports on specific topics concerning offender rehabilitation
  6. evaluate empirical studies on the effectiveness of psychological interventions with youth and adult offenders.

You should not enrol in this subject if you have successfully completed any of the following subject(s) because they are considered academically equivalent:

This is not an introductory subject. You should complete a number of other first and/or second year subjects. Students who have completed more than 2 OUA units (GPA 4.0+) and are planning on completing the Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice are strongly encouraged to enrol in the degree. Part of this process will involve registering your study plan with Griffith University, which will help to ensure that you are studying the required units.
