About this subject

  • Upon successful completion, students will have the knowledge and skills to:

    1. Use an active vocabulary of around 2,500 items.

    2. Recognise and produce phrase and sentence structures that enable them to converse and write extended passages on a range of topics.

    3. Read, listen and discuss a range of authentic written texts and audio-visual media with the use of a dictionary.

    4. Offer a comparative perspective on various topics in writing and discussion.

    5. Identify and evaluate information from various resources.

    6. Demonstrate in communication a cultural understanding of Thai perceptions and practices with relevant and critical evidence.
