About this subject

  • Upon successful completion, students will have the knowledge and skills to:

    1. demonstrate knowledge of Portuguese grammar and lexicon;
    2. discuss a variety of topics in Portuguese;
    3. read and understand literary and non-literary texts;
    4. write descriptive texts and short essays; and
    5. show good understanding of cultural and traditional practices specific to Portuguese societies in the world.

To enrol in this course you must have completed PORT1001, or have equivalent level of language proficiency as demonstrated by placement test, or with permission of the convener.
You are not able to enrol in this course if you have previously completed any of the following courses: PORT2001, PORT2002, PORT6502, PORT6503 or PORT6504.
