- Successful completion of a Higher Education qualification.
- Year 12 (Australian secondary school certificate) or equivalent.

This course teaches you the fundamentals of communication, marketing and management and promotes critical thinking skills that are used to create strategic business and marketing plans and identify business opportunities. The Diploma of Business consists of eight subjects, including four core subjects and four elective subjects, so you can tailor the course to fit your career goals. Upon completion, you can use your credits to enter the second year of a Bachelor of Business program.

Recommended Study Pattern
The Diploma of Business (DIPBUS16) course structure is 1 year (80 credit points) in duration (normal full time).
8 subjects (10 credit points each) per year is deemed a normal full time load.
To be awarded the Diploma of Business (DIPBUS16) students will need to complete 80 credit points over 8 subjects as outlined in the Course Structure above. Each subject has a value of 10 credit points.
