Although you can complete your 300 hours of industry experience 100% online, you also have the option to complete your placement in-person across our acclaimed industry network.

You will develop your understanding of the principles of innovation and how to apply them to solve the diverse entrepreneurial challenges that come with new ventures as well as established organisations. You’ll acquire the skills to recognise market trends, analyse potential business opportunities, negotiate contracts, obtain funding and apply lean principles in development of a business concept and business plan. This course strengthens your entrepreneurial mindset with creativity, innovation, and research and analytical capabilities.

Recommended Study Pattern
The Bachelor of Business (Entrepreneurship) course structure comprises of 16 core subjects and 8 elective subjects. Electives may be chosen from any of the other BBUS or other TUA undergraduate courses (pre-requisites permitting). Electives chosen from other TUA courses must have prior approval from the Program Director or delegate.
You must complete 300 hours of Industry-relevant experience across the duration of your course.
The program can be completed in a three year in duration (normal full time). 8 subjects (10 credit points each) per year is deemed a normal full time load. Students can fast-track the completion of the degree by taking 4 subjects (40 credit points) per trimester over six trimesters.
Award Requirements
To qualify for the degree Bachelor of Business (Entrepreneurship) (BBUSENT16), the candidate must complete satisfactorily a course of study that comprises 16 core subjects and 8 elective subjects.
A combined total of 240 credit points is required.
You must complete 300 hours of Industry-relevant experience across the duration of your course.
