An Advanced Diploma of Game Design and Development is where ideas become playable reality, building the core skills needed to start your career in the gaming industry. Built on three core pillars – asset production, game ideation and design and game project management – this course develops the creative, technical and collaborative expertise required to bring games and interactive experiences to life.

Course duration: 5 trimesters full time, 3 years part time, 1 year accelerated.
Recommended study pattern
The course structure comprises 12 subjects over levels 100 and 200. A total of 120 credit points is required to satisfactorily complete the course. The Advanced Diploma of Game Design and Development course structure comprises of: 10 core subjects and 2 elective subjects.
Award requirements
To be awarded the Advanced Diploma of Game Design and Development, students must complete 120 credit points over 12 subjects. Each subject has a value of 10 credit points. Students must complete a minimum of 80 credits points at level 100 and 40 credit points at level 200.
