This course considers the global manager&#39;s environment including the functions of management and the skills required to operate in the dynamic business world of today. This course provides students with a framework for critical understanding the contextual, strategic and operational issues of export management. It covers the operational aspects of international trading and enhance students&#39; ability to apply integrated discipline knowledge to formulate an export plan and to deal with practical challenges such as exporting documentation, payment methods, financing options and legal considerations. As a result, students&#39; employability in the field of international business will be greatly improved. Whenever applicable, industry engagement, such as a field trip to the Port of Brisbane, company visit, and guest presentation will be incorporated in the course to offer students opportunities to understand the dynamic nature of international trade.
