About this subject

  • On completion of this subject students should be able to achieve the following learning outcomes:

    1. Critically analyse the principles of educational assessment and evaluation.
    2. Apply the principles of quality assessment and evaluation practices.
    3. Create different types of assessment strategies that are fit for purpose including appropriate tasks and marking criteria and standards.
    4. Engage in moderation, calibration and benchmarking activities and use these as strategies to improve the quality of designs for learning and assessment.
    5. Examine and respond to current common trends in assessment and evaluation in higher education.

  • UND-HPE-GDI-2023 - Graduate Diploma of Health Professional Education
  • UND-HPE-GCE-2023 - Graduate Certificate in Health Professional Education
