This subject is the third in a sequence of four professional experience subjects. The subject will support your understanding and application of key education theories, concepts, and skills to develop your professional teaching practice. The professional experience practical assessment is a 15 day full-time block placement intended to enable practical application of the knowledge and skills gained, particularly in the PTP3 subject. This subject requires you to demonstrate a higher level of competence and developing mastery of core teaching skills than previous placement assessments. The subject's assessment tasks support your progression towards the requirements for the AFGT.
All required clearances to work with children must be obtained, and all other preparation requirements met prior to commencement of Professional Experience placement.
