Final Project in Design and the Built Environment
About this subject
At the completion of this subject students will be able to:
- critique a research proposal and/or project by undertaking rigorous enquiry towards completion of a body of work within your discipline
- analyse and interpret findings or creative outcomes in relation to the research and/or project aims, theoretical frameworks and disciplinary discourse
- evaluate the research and/or project process, reflecting on methodological, ethical, and positional dimensions, as well as the project's broader impacts
- communicate and defend research.
- This is a research project and therefore topics will vary within and between study periods.
This subject enables students to realise their research and/or project proposal through independent, supervised work that integrates critical analysis, methodological rigour and disciplinary expertise. Demonstrating autonomy, initiative and accountability in the management and completion of a substantial project.
