The Graduate Certificate in Autism and Neurodivergent Studies lets you develop advanced knowledge and skills in supporting autistic and neurodivergent individuals. This degree focuses on support strategies , guided by advanced theoretical knowledge and a person-centered approach. By learning how to prioritise the neurodivergent individual’s perspective, it ensures that challenges are addressed in a way that meets individual needs.

Recommended study pattern

The Graduate Certificate in Autism and Neurodivergent Studies course structure is based on a standard duration of 12 teaching weeks and can be undertaken over two study periods (full time) or three/four study periods (part time).

For full time enrolment, two subjects are undertaken in each 12 week study period (a total of 4 subjects over 24 weeks).

For part time enrolment, one subject is undertaken in each 12 week study period (a total of 4 subjects over 48 weeks).

Award requirements

All subjects are compulsory, therefore to qualify and be awarded the Graduate Certificate in Autism and Neurodivergent Studies all 4 subjects need to be successfully completed.
