About this degree
Graduates of the Bachelor of Business will have a broad and coherent body of knowledge that underpins theory, practice and professionalism within one of the disciplinary areas associated with the degree. In addition they will have specialist technical knowledge in at least one field of business and management studies.
Graduates of the Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice will have a broad and coherent body of knowledge in the fields of criminology and criminal justice, including an in-depth understanding of various theoretical frameworks underpinning the study of criminal behaviour, victimisation and criminal justice responses to crime and crime prevention.
Blend business expertise with criminology insights. This double degree equips you with the analytical, strategic and practical skills to tackle challenges in business, law enforcement, public policy and social justice. You'll graduate with a unique combination of knowledge that employers value, giving you flexibility and a competitive edge across a range of industries.

This degree is offered full-time and part-time at the Nathan and Gold Coast campuses and online. You may choose to study courses on-campus, online or a combination of modes to suit your requirements. You may also choose to study courses at other campuses if or where the program structure allows.
As a full-time student, you will generally attend 12-15 hours of scheduled classes per week throughout the trimester. As a part-time student, you will generally attend 6-8 hours of scheduled classes per week.
Classes may be scheduled during the day and evening throughout the week.

Award requirements
For the award of Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice (BBus/BCCJ), you must successfully Complete 320 credit points comprising:
- 260 credit points for all Core Module, and
- 60 credit points for one Major from Business Major Module
You must also ensure that
- Selected courses must include at most 120 credit points at level 1.
- Selected courses must include at most 60 credit points at level 3.

Certificate III
English language requirements apply to International applicants and other applicants whose previous study was undertaken in a language other than English. The minimum English language requirements for such applicants for entry to this program are as follows:
- A minimum overall band score of 6.5 on IELTS (Academic) with no sub-score of less than 6.0
- OR a minimum score of 575 on TOEFL
- OR an internet-based (iBT) TOEFL score of 79 (no sub-score less than 19)
- OR no score less than 3+ in each skill of the ISLPR (conducted by ISLPR Language Services only)
- OR a minimum overall score of 176 (no score less than 169) on C1 Advanced (formerly Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English) or C2 Proficiency (formerly Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English)
- OR an overall score of 58 in the Pearson Test of English (Academic) with no score less than 50.
English test results must be no more than two years old.
