Welcoming Edith Cowan University

Get to know Edith Cowan University – the latest university to offer a range of exciting new courses online through Open Universities Australia (OUA).

This week at Open Universities Australia (OUA), we’re delighted to welcome our 18th university on board, Edith Cowan University (ECU), offering even more choice for our students.

About Edith Cowan University

Named after Edith Dircksey Cowan, the first woman to be elected to an Australian Parliament, ECU prides itself on operating with the same belief Edith had all those years ago: that education is powerful. At OUA, this is a belief we align strongly with, too.

Established in 1991, ECU has been dedicated to delivering quality education for over 29 years. They do this through extensive consultation with industry – giving students future-focused course content and placement opportunities.

It’s no wonder the university has been awarded with consistently high ratings for teaching quality and overall education experience.

Making postgraduate study simple

Whether you’re looking to use your work experience to step into a qualification, or build on your undergraduate studies, ECU offers a range of postgraduate courses across various industries.

Better yet, you can gain a graduate certificate with ECU through OUA after completing just three units of study. This is an ideal way to up-skill without taking on years of coursework.

Students studying with ECU through OUA then have the option to build on their graduate certificate. Add just three more subjects, and you may qualify for a graduate diploma. Keen to go even further? You may then choose to move onto a masters in your chosen field.
