Your quick guide to subjects starting this winter

By Open Universities AustraliaPublished on

Studying a subject this winter can help you build momentum for what’s next. From political science to psychology to law, see what’s starting soon.

Love it or hate it, winter is here. As the weather starts to bite, the days grow shorter, and we all start to rug up at home, it could be the right time of year to think about your next study move.

You could sample a subject from a degree to build a skill for work, or to test out how online study fits around your life. If you weren’t ready at the start of the year, or just want to get a head-start, midyear study can get you moving.

There are plenty of subjects starting in mid-to-late July, especially across the humanities, business and law. The beauty is: you don’t have to be enrolled in a longer course to take these. They are standalone subjects open to anyone.

Why not see if one could help you get ahead?

Or are you more interested in getting a qualification? Explore degrees starting this winter instead.
