About this subject
By the end of this 12-week subject, you'll be able to:
- Select and apply experience design methods to study user behaviour in response to a brief.
- Design and deliver a user experience strategy that aligns with user research outcomes.
- Critically analyse the relationships between users, products or services, and the impact on experience design.
- Apply validation and testing methods to assess the usability of a design.
- A guide to the topics you will explore in this subject will be provided in your study materials.
This subject develops conceptual and practical knowledge and skills in experience design for digital products and services. Students will use common experience design methods and tools to analyse user needs. Students will work through the design process to improve and refine the user experience in relation to the requirements of a specific client brief. Throughout this subject students will develop their knowledge and skillset to design usable and user-centred experiences.
- Critical Evaluation of existing User Experience (25%)
- User experience design project – Concept Development and Prototype (40%)
