About this subject
By the end of this 12-week subject, you'll be able to:
- Analyse PM principles and performance domains.
- Interpret the collaborative role and functions of the project manager, team and stakeholders.
- Justify relevant PM methodologies for selected projects.
- Apply PM principles, performance domains, tools and techniques to projects within industry.
- A guide to the topics you will explore in this subject will be provided in your study materials.
This subject will introduce you to the tools and techniques used in successfully tailoring and managing waterfall and agile projects. The language used by practitioners in conjunction with the terminology recognised by the Project Management Institute (PMI) is explored. You will consider Project Management (PM) principles and performance domains of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) guide, which will include development approach & lifecycle, planning, project work, measurement and delivery.
