This course is selective and there is an application process which starts at least 8 weeks prior to the commencement of the Trimester and closes 4 weeks prior. Enrolment in this course is restricted to students who have completed the application process and have secured an internship position with Griffith Business School. *Please ensure you have obtained approval from Griffith prior to enrolling with OUA* This course is not available for credit based on prior studies or external activities. Students must have completed a minimum of half of their degree program (a minimum of 120 credit points for a single degree and 160 credit points for a double degree) before trimester commencement. For students in the B Com/B Bus degree program or studying in the AFE disciplines, the completed courses must include 60 credit points of foundation courses and 20 credit points of courses in the Commerce major. Additional discipline specific information is included throughout the course profile.

This subject is available to all undergraduate Griffith Business School students from a range of disciplines, and provides opportunity to work on a project-based internship.
Project-based internships include working on
- industry- or organisation- relevant problems or challenges that require a solution or set of recommendations,
- independent research projects based on professional practice, or
- projects based on special topics of interest that are relevant to the students' field of study and requirements of the Program.
The subject is designed to facilitate a successful transition from academic life to employment by providing opportunities to apply what has been learnt at university to a workplace setting. A second but equally important feature of this subject is the focus on raising awareness of your own personal attributes and the professional skills that are needed to gain and sustain employment, build a successful career, and contribute to individuals, communities and organisations across all sectors in ways that produce prosperous, equitable and sustainable futures. Project-based internships are offered in face-to-face, virtual/online or blended mode. This subject is not available for credit based on prior studies or external activities.
