Architecture Methods 2B - Information Visualisation
About this subject
At the completion of this subject students will be able to:
- use 3D digital modelling and representation to communicate an understanding of design concepts and construction
- use appropriate methods of digital representation to analyse and express qualities of space and form
- synthesise and present design ideas clearly to a professional standard.

This subject was previously known as Architecture Methods 4.
This subject introduces students to concepts and techniques relating to the 3D software and architectural representation. The subject has a specific emphasis on digital modelling, representing and fabricating architectural design. Students will be introduced to key software techniques that relate to these concepts and that are relevant to architectural representation and presentation. Work Integrated Learning is incorporated through analysis, manipulating and testing of ideas using a range of visual communication skills.
