Master of Health (Advanced Nursing)
About this degree
This course is designed to equip nurses with advanced knowledge to help them take their careers to the next level. By learning methods for clinical analysis, developing leadership skills for health environments, and gaining advanced knowledge of human pathophysiology, you’ll take on a specialised skillset to help you provide high-quality patient care.
You’ll put theory into practice with a final capstone project designed to consolidate and solidify your learning. You’ll work with a supervisor who will offer guidance as you undertake a work-integrated learning project designed to let you apply advanced-level clinical concepts. In addition, you’ll gain profound knowledge and understanding of local and global health care and the complexities of disease and illness. By combining this knowledge with practical applications, you’ll graduate with all the skills you’ll need to effectively manage in a health care setting.
The Master of Health (Advanced Nursing) equips you with the advanced knowledge of clinical practice you will need enabling you to hone your clinical reasoning and leadership skills to deliver evidence-based patient outcomes and drive progressive change in a range of health care settings.
