Bachelor of Branded Fashion Design

During this course you will:

• Investigate the theory behind sustainable and ethical fashion design and marketing.
• Learn how to create and manage the integrity and positioning of a brand.

Led by highly regarded industry professionals, you’ll learn garment construction techniques, evaluate communication and brand-fashion strategies, and scrutinise past, present and future fashion trends. Throughout this course, you will learn how to create a range of brand-design solutions, liaise with others across the fashion industry and use the latest software to communicate your product design ideas. You’ll discover how to produce clothing designs to industry standards while meeting budgets and timelines and how to manage the integrity and positioning of a brand.

The course structure comprises eight common core subjects, 15 specialised and one elective subject in Level 300 as follows:

• Level 100: three common core subjects; five specialised subjects
• Level 200: three common core subjects; five specialised subjects
• Level 300: two common core subjects; five specialised subjects; one elective subject

Entry requirements for this course includes:

• Successful completion of a Higher Education qualification.

• Year 12 (Australian secondary school certificate) or equivalent.

• Successful completion of a Vocational qualification (AQF Level 4), or above

• Work life experience demonstrating the ability to undertake study at the required level.
