Master of Software Engineering (Artificial Intelligence, Advanced)

While this course is founded on strong traditional and cutting-edge software engineering know-how, such as programming, maths and statistical knowledge, you’ll also investigate ethics, social responsibility and cognitive psychology throughout your studies. You’ll have the opportunity to investigate advanced software engineering techniques, challenge the foundational principles of your chosen discipline and explore the boundaries of software design. Recommended study pattern

The course structure comprises 7 Software Engineering (SE) core subjects, 4 specialised subjects and 2 elective subjects over levels 400, 500 and 600, as follows:

• Level 400: 4 SE core subjects
• Level 500: 1 SE core subject, 2 specialisation subjects and 1 elective.
• Level 600: 2 SE core subjects, 2 specialisation subjects and 1 elective.

Torrens University Australia offers flexible entry options and study pathways, whether you’re finishing school, pursuing career progression or looking for a change. Entry requirements for this course includes:

• AQF Level 7 (Bachelor degree) or above from an Australian University in a relevant field of study.

Students without an undergraduate degree, may be admitted to the Graduate Certificate as a pathway with:

• 3 years professional experience in software development, AND
• A discipline specific portfolio, AND
• A recommendation letter from 2 employers, OR
• Work life experience demonstrating the ability to undertake study at the required level.
