About this subject

  • Upon completion of this subject, the student should be able to:

    1. Demonstrate professional and ethical principals in simulated pharmacy scenarios.
    2. Describe the impact of the social determinants of health, and health literacy on patient outcomes.
    3. Explain the principles of culturally respectful and safe practice, particularly for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
    4. Discuss the role of pharmacists within primary health care.
