• What you'll learn

  On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:

  1. Evaluate factors influencing the implementation and adoption of digital health data and systems to inform evidence-informed healthcare delivery.
  2. Critically analyse and communicate stakeholder perspectives on digital health services and strategic directions to inform the design, recommendations and governance of interoperable digital health systems.
  3. Analyse the impact of digital health systems on consumer engagement, care delivery and access to services within digital health environments.
  4. Evaluate digital health standards, governance and interoperability requirements to inform privacy, confidentiality and secure use of health data.

Entry requirements

Part of a degree

To enrol in this subject you must be accepted into one of the following degrees:

Core

• TAS-ADH-MAS-2027 - Master of Advanced Practice (Digital Health)
• TAS-ADH-GDI-2027 - Graduate Diploma of Advanced Practice (Digital Health)

Equivalent subjects

You should not enrol in this subject if you have successfully completed any of the following subject(s) because they are considered academically equivalent:

Additional requirements

• Other requirements - Teaching Arrangement: You are expected to devote around 10 hours per week to the study materials, assessment tasks and self-directed learning. Optional Online sessions- 2 hours per fortnight.
