This subject aims to provide students with an overview of research methods and the opportunity to explore different theoretical frameworks and employ relevant methodology in addressing their topic. It emphasises the understanding of the strengths, weaknesses and practical applications of different methods, both qualitative and quantitative. This subject enables students to apply these methods to a variety of authentic research problems.
