About this subject

  • On completion of this course students should be able to achieve the following learning outcomes:

    1. Solve mathematical problems relating to polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic and trigonometric functions.

    2. Apply trigonometric identities and functions to solve practical mathematical problems.

    3. Apply concepts related to the theory of sequences and series.

    4. Apply concepts relating to matrices and systems of linear equations.

    5. Communicate theoretical concepts to specialist and non-specialist audiences.
