In this subject, you will engage in an industry-based consultancy project designed to enhance your employability and develop the skills highly sought after in both global and Australian workplaces. This hands-on experience will allow you to apply the knowledge and competencies acquired throughout your course to real-world challenges, showcasing your ability to meet professional standards and deliver results from the outset. A key objective of this subject is to assess, reflect upon, and refine your personal and professional capabilities in the context of the Torrens University Australia (TUA) SMART SKILLS Framework. By aligning your skills with your career aspirations and identifying areas for development, you will gain valuable insights into your readiness for the workforce. Ideally, the consultancy project will be completed within the Social Enterprise Hub at Torrens University with external clients. Alternatively, you can complete the consultancy project in your place of work (subject to approval). Successful completion of this subject grants 150 hours of credit towards industry practicum requirements.
