This subject supports you to be “career ready” for your professional journey. This subject is designed to help you navigate your career paths and develop a strong professional identity. Through guided activities and reflective practice, you will assess your personal competencies and identify areas for improvement. You will explore various career options, set personal career objectives, and conduct thorough career research to understand the opportunities and challenges in your fields of interest. Additionally, you will learn to articulate your professional capabilities using industry-standard language, preparing you to present yourself effectively to prospective employers. This subject includes live sessions with the expectation of student attendance and participation.

Past La Trobe University students who have previously completed BIO3CEP (Career Options and Professional Identity in Biology), SCI2COP (Big Ideas in Science: Career Options and Professional Identity) or LTU2PYC (Planning Your Career) are ineligible to enrol in this subject.
