About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. Demonstrate a theoretical understanding of the literature in relation to managing diversity and the national and organisational practices which are associated with diversity theories.
    2. Demonstrate a theoretical understanding of issues of employment equity in organisations and relevant legislation.
    3. Demonstrate an ability to analyse diversity issues in organisations and the strategies used to address diversity in organisations.
    4. Demonstrate an ability to assess organisational responses to harness the benefits of diversity or inclusiveness in organisations.
