• What you'll learn

  At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

  1. using appropriate research methods, identify, analyse and compare data related to controlling planning, development and design principles of urban contexts and projects from local and international sources to create speculative urban propositions
  2. application of creative imagination, and evaluate and synthesise design options, employing three dimensional and other modelling processes, values of physical, environmental and cultural contexts to develop an urban design project in response to brief, users and regulatory requirements and international standards
  3. evaluate, synthesise and communicate the values embedded within the wider and regional context and respond through an architectural schematic design project considering scale, place users and the regulatory framework

Entry requirements

Part of a degree

To enrol in this subject you must be accepted into one of the following degrees:

Core

• CUR-MAA-MAS-2023 - Master of Architecture

Elective

• CUR-FAST-MAS-2023 - Fast track your Curtin on campus study (Postgraduate)
