This subject is the capstone subject of the professional practice suite and will emphasise transition into the profession. An important feature of the subject will be on planning professional learning as the transition into the profession is made and on the role of the Australian Professional Standards for Graduate Teachers in guiding this development. A five-week professional practice placement will enable practical application of the knowledge and skills gained along with further insights into the complexity of the teacher’s role. The overall pass requirement for the subject consists of a mark of at least 25% for the theory component and a pass for the professional practice placement report.
