Entry requirements
Option 1:
A completed bachelor (AQF level 7) degree or equivalent from an Australian higher education institution with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5.0 or higher, that includes an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) three-year sequence in psychology; AND
A minimum average mark of 65% in Level 2 and Level 3 psychology courses taken as part of that degree; OR
Option 2:
A completed APAC-accredited Graduate Diploma of Psychology with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5.0 or higher.
Alternative entry pathway for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and be able to provide Confirmation of Aboriginality or complete a statutory declaration (https://www.satac.edu.au/documents/satac_atsistatdec_editable.pdf).
- Have completed an APAC-accredited qualification that achieves foundational competencies. The program could be a Bachelor Degree in Psychology, or a Bachelor Degree in any discipline that includes an APAC-accredited sequence in Psychology (e.g., Graduate Diploma in Psychology).
- Achieve at least a GPA of 4.5 over the course of their undergraduate study, inclusive of courses in Psychology.
