Torrens University joins OUA, as we celebrate passing our goal of 20 unis in 2020

At Open Universities Australia (OUA), we'e excited to offer greater choice in online courses - as we welcome our twenty-first university: Torrens University Australia. 4 minute read.

Torrens University Australia marks the twenty-first of Australia’s 43 universities with courses now available for students to explore, choose and enrol in online through OUA. 

As the second privately-owned Australian university to join open.edu.au, Torrens University Australia will deliver courses in partnership with Ducere Global Business School.

For OUA, it’s an exciting time, as we officially surpass our goal of 20 universities available for students to study with on our platform in 2020.

We spoke to OUA’s Head of Partnerships, David Cummings, about the milestone

“We are focussed on ensuring we can give as much choice to students who wish to study online, through the calibre and breadth of university providers on offer via our marketplace,” David explains. 

“Torrens, through its relationship with Ducere Business School, is set to provide yet another opportunity for students to access world leading, tertiary education through our marketplace.”
