Elite athletes

Support elite athletes to achieve their dreams in and out of the sporting arena.

OUA is a member of the Elite Athlete Friendly University (EAFU) network. We recognise that juggling education with a sporting career is a challenge, so we aim to deliver flexible study options that are elite athlete friendly.

Supporting athletes to achieve academic excellence

OUA is committed to helping elite athletes achieve their dreams in and out of the sporting arena. A proud member of the Elite Athlete Friendly University (EAFU) network, we recognise the challenges athletes face when combining education, career and a personal life with a high performance-sporting career.

Our university partners’ degree offerings suit the unique needs of elite student athletes. The degrees are designed for distance education and are accessible online. Through OUA, you can find, choose and enrol in degrees and subjects online from leading Australian universities, anytime, anywhere.

Professional athletes studying through OUA come from a range of sports including all football codes, tennis, athletics, diving and more.

You can complete a whole degree or study only a few subjects to complete a professional accreditation. With multiple study terms each academic year, you can also fast track your degree.
