About this subject

  • Upon completion of this subject, the student should be able to:

    1. To demonstrate the impetus of your proposed research and demonstrate how your research will contribute to theoretical understanding.
    2. To use scholarly literature to generate robust, theoretically informed research questions.
    3. To compare and contrast qualitative and quantitative research paradigms and demonstrate which paradigm is most appropriate for your proposed research.
    4. To demonstrate an understanding of ethical considerations for proposed research.
    5. Apply professional and academic communication skills.
