Anatomy and Physiology 2
About this subject
On successful completion you will be able to:
- Identify and describe the anatomical structure of major body systems (cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, renal, reproductive and integumentary) in everyday life using the appropriate anatomical terminology.
- Explain the function of major body systems (cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, renal, reproductive and integumentary) that sustain essential life processes.
- Analyse and communicate the relationship between structure and function of the body systems (cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, renal, reproductive and integumentary).
- Terminology
- Cardiovascular system 1
- Cardiovascular system 2
- Cardiovascular system 3
- Lymphatic system 1
- Respiratory system 1
- Respiratory system 2
- Urinary system 1
- Urinary system 2
- Reproductive system 1
- Reproductive system 2
- Integumentary system 1
- Integumentary system 2
This subject introduces you to human anatomy and physiology – the structure and function of body systems. This will provide the foundation for the study of the major body systems important for protection (integumentary system); fluids and transport (cardiovascular and lymphatic systems); environmental exchange (respiratory and renal systems); and the continuity of life (reproductive systems).
