About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. Demonstrate, using logical structured reasoning both orally and in writing, a coherent and integrated knowledge of: Staffing strategy and planning; Contexts (social, legal, organisational) that shape recruitment and selection: Job design and analysis; Recruitment and Selection methods; Managing workforce flow; and Measuring the effectiveness of the staffing system.
    2. Demonstrate, using logical and structured reasoning, the ability to apply recruitment and selection theory and research to specific recruitment and selection practices.
