About this subject
Students will be able to write and test programs to solve a range of problems and explain how computer systems operate.

This block provides essential grounding in the technical functioning of computing systems and the fundamentals of programming. Students learn how software and hardware interact, and how both can be designed.
Assessment focuses on foundational problem-solving through code. Learners demonstrate their understanding through individual, scenario-based tasks with real-world relevance.
