About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject student will be able to:

    1. describe the structure, character, organisation and operation of different levels of government in Australia
    2. describe the principles behind and the content of current planning and development legislation vis a vis Locally, Nationally and Internationally
    3. explain and critically reflect on legislation affecting the development process Locally, Nationally and Internationally
    4. explain the nature of development policies and assess their impact on development practice in different jurisdictions.
