Empowering Learners Through Social Justice Leadership

About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. research and synthesise the perspectives and experiences of all people, especially marginalised learners, individuals, and communities
    2. develop a philosophy of educational leadership premised on theories and principles of social justice and identify goals and challenges for implementation
    3. appraise the value of social justice informed leadership for educational contexts, learners and their communities
    4. evaluate, revise and review examples of educational practice using a social justice lens
