<p>Understanding the learning needs of children and adolescents as they develop is critical to your future as an educator of young people. In this subject you will explore the field of Developmental Psychology and analyse a range of theories which explore the different developmental frameworks and physical, cognitive, social and emotional domains. You will learn about developmental differences and investigate teaching strategies to help you respond to these differences in the classroom. This subject teaches you how to use developmental assessment information to  better support student development and learning. You’ll also learn some strategies for reporting results to parents and carers. </p>
