Explore people-environment interactions through the Geography and Environment Major to develop specialist expertise across the physical, spatial and social sciences and the integrated knowledge needed to solve environmental challenges locally and globally. Geography is uniquely placed within the BSc to offer insights into the complex social-ecological systems that need to be navigated to achieve these solutions, including understanding regulatory frameworks, ethics in science, and the critical evaluation and synthesis of information.BSc students with a major in Geography and Environment have career prospects in land management, policy and planning, sustainability planning, environmental regulation and assessment, in both the public and private sector. Bachelor of Science (Geography and Environment)

Bachelor of Arts

Anthropology informs and contextualises current political and social issues of inequality and discrimination, human security and environmental sustainability. At UniSQ you will develop skills in cultural analysis, critical thinking, and communication to examine critical questions about some of society’s most pressing issues, such as religious and cultural conflict, gender discrimination, racism, food security and other social inequalities. Further, UniSQ’s program design allows you to practice key methods of ethnography, undertake specialised courses in religion and medical anthropology, and gain the opportunity to experience hands-on and applied work in museum and heritage studies.

Bachelor of Arts (Anthropology)
