Siebert Lubbe is Open Universities Australia’s Chief Customer and Technology Officer, spearheading the organisation’s remit across our customer experiences, services and technology capabilities – with a particular focus on future student experiences.
Siebert is proud to return to the organisation for a second time, his passion for creating impact for students and universities a driver behind this decision.
As Chief Customer and Technology Officer, Siebert plays an integral role as Open Universities Australia progresses its innovation priorities. His focus in particular is on evolving the ways we support students and partners to scale our impact as a trusted destination for the education sector.
He is a passionate advocate for:
- Taking a customer-driven approach to technology, backing knowledge and capability in technology with empathy
- Having a positive impact end-to-end on all customer experiences delivered by Open Universities Australia by way of innovating channels and capabilities
- Bringing people across the organisation together to solve challenges and create true value and impact, no matter their department or discipline
Prior to Open Universities Australia, Siebert held roles at Alinta Energy, Redbubble and REA Group. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering specialising in Computer Engineering from the University of Pretoria.
