A hub for education officers
At Open Universities Australia, we know that education has the power to change lives.
We break down the barriers to university study, making it a real possibility for everyone to access—regardless of current circumstances or previous education.
We’re here to help students get to where they want to be in life, and we champion everyone who wants to learn.
We understand that facilitating study on behalf of incarcerated students can be challenging for education officers. There can be many constraints placed on students depending on their individual circumstances.
This site explains the study options available to incarcerated students through OUA. We outline the enrolment process, and offer advice for managing your student's studies.
To get a new incarcerated student started with OUA, or for any enquiries with regards to incarcerated students currently studying, please contact the Specialist Liaison Team.
