Salesperson (Tickets)

A Ticket Salesperson is responsible for selling tickets to consumers for a range of different events. Other responsibilities include making reservations or collecting fares for transportation. Frequently, Ticket Salespeople are employed at sporting events and movie theatres and other entertainment events. This position requires a great deal of interaction with the public.

Working conditions

Ticket Salespeople working in movie theatres spend most of the time working indoors, whereas those working at sporting events may find that they spend a good deal of time working outdoors. Interacting with large groups of people is also quite common, as many ticket salespersons work at large stadium sized venues where they can come into contact with hundreds or even thousands of people.
