Property Manager

Property Managers oversee and lease property used for commercial or residential purposes. They may also offer guidance on the most lucrative and beneficial uses of land and property. Property Managers should be aware of market prices, land development and strong organisational skills.

Duties and tasks

  • Addresses issues of late payments, non-compliance or damages of property and take necessary actions to collect debt, repair damages, etc.
  • Collect rent payments from tenants and issue payments back to the property owners
  • Facilitate the leasing of properties, advertising and meeting with potential renters
  • Manage a variety of properties on behalf of clients, maintaining property by scheduling necessary maintenance and repairs
  • Organise financing or land brokerage activities on behalf of clients or government
  • Prepare assessments of land and valuation and submit sales and leasing proposals for commercial land and property
  • Research property rights and regulations, market trends, current demands and factors that influence sale and value of property
