ICT Manager

ICT Managers organise and run the operations of information and communication technology in companies and organisations. They should have strong technical abilities and familiarity in the latest technologies and strong coordination and leadership abilities.

Duties and tasks

  • Develop organisations ICT policies and guidelines
  • Ensure ICT security devices are in place and managed
  • Evaluate organisations technological requirements and ideal systems
  • Manage ICT operations including maintenance work, testing and optimisation
  • Manage information and communication technology resources and implement installation and upgrades for systems
  • Oversee training manuals and training sessions for users working with systems
  • Plan and recommend suitable computers and technological systems to meet company needs

Working conditions
