- Analyse and discuss workplace performances
- Apply business practice theories, principles and processes to workplace performance
- Communicate business information to a professional and diverse audience
- Subject's topics to be confirmed prior to semester commencement.
This subject integrates work and learning for Master’s degree students. It carries a 25 Credit Points (equivalent to two subjects), and is an elective subject or specialisation subject in Master’s degrees offered by the TSBE. You will undertake a workplace project (or tasks) with a business organisation in the public, private or not-for-profit sector in Tasmania that employs or trains staff. You will be assigned a Project Mentor from within the organisation who will assist you during your work placement.
Specific work projects, assignments and related duties you will undertake will be determined in consultation between yourself, the nominated representative/s of the workplace project organisation (your project Mentor), and the TSBE. This will ensure the appropriate standards are maintained and that the work project/s and related tasks relate to one or more of your study majors. For the duration of the project period, the Project Coordinator or the Course Coordinator will liaise closely with you and the Project Mentor.
