About this subject

  • Upon successful completion of this subject, students should be able to:

    1. Describe the nature and purpose of scientific knowledge and inquiry in society
    2. Apply scientific practice and knowledge to communicate solutions to real world problems
    3. Identify and evaluate the role of ethical conduct and relevant behaviours, principles and perspectives in applied sciences
    4. Use reflective and deliberative thinking to generate plans for self-development
