About this subject

  • Upon successful completion of this subject, students should be able to:

    1. Explain drivers for and approaches to innovation and novel technologies in fermentation industries
    2. Describe products, processes, and technology within the fermentation industry in the context of innovation
    3. Apply and evaluate design-thinking approaches to an industry problem
    4. Critically reflect on innovative practices for self-development

  • Attendance requirements - Students will be required to attend to field trips/workshops -3 days per semester to complete the subject.
